the requisite valentine's day post.
and the necessary gushing about how wonderful my boyfriend is, but of course, what else could you possibly expect from me...yes i know i'm a mushy mess.
right, so in the week leading up to the day itself, i saw nothing but bugs.
(jayne says it's a lousy pun but i think i'm quite funny, what.)

prompting disbelieving shrieks of disgust from anyone who cared to find out what my present was, and better still, my ma to think that her daughter is busy fornicating. pls refrain from any more questions at this juncture, i refuse to entertain them.
my boyfriend on the other hand was tied down by some mysterious present that required a monstrous amount of effort on his part, refusing to let me in on what he was so busy with and dropping insignificant clues. so busy were we with our gifts for each other that our daily talktime on the phone and our dates out came to a near standstill. feb14 has that effect on couples, yes.
but the flowers were a sight to behold literally (but not getai at all! i really love them),
the dinner was fantastic,
your gift made me cry,
and i couldn't have wished for a lovelier, more wonderful date.
"i love you" just doesn't seem quite enough anymore.

My funny valentine...
Sweet, comic valentine...
You make me smile with my heart
can i say, it was grand :)
i want to blog more about the superb franz concert but i think i've neglected my books long enough.
but i leave you with these words of wisdom: alex kapranos is a sexy beast! phwoar!
